Project Management: This position allows the successful candidate to develop and improve project management skills. The position will require project management, consultant management, and possibly some construction management. It will also require interfacing with other agencies and development of council/board and other report documents.

Job Description:
Project Partners has an exciting GIS position for a GIS Technician with experience in ArcInfo and ArcMap. This is great opportunity for individuals interested in doing GIS work and obtaining experience working with a large public sector agency.
Under general supervision, successful candidate will assist in the data input of wastewater engineering facilities into an extensive GIS application. Must be familiar with engineering drawings. The individual will work with project teams and assist in the development of GIS sewer collection or treatment systems database.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university in Geography, GIS, or a related field is desirable but not required. Knowledge of ArcInfo, and ArcMap; specifically editing ArcMap is required. Should have experience or skills in editing and working with geodata and shape-files. Experience or knowledge in SDE Database is desirable. Should have some experience with AutoCad or other engineering drafting program. Previous work with wastewater systems a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively handle multiple projects. At least 4 years of professional experience involving the GIS applications on engineering projects, ideally wastewater projects, is desired.
