Job Description:
Experienced land development engineer to conduct small land development projects in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. Selected candidate should have overall knowledge of Land Development requirements including conditional use permits, utilities, streets, grading, and hydrology. Knowledge of the development standards for city of Fontana, San Gabriel, Arcadia, El Monte as well as the Counties of San Bernardino and LA a plus. Must be able to generate hydrology reports and design plans for utilities streets, curb and gutter, and general projects. Experience and strengths in Land Development a must; water systems a plus.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field. At least Ten (10) years of progressively responsible experience in civil engineering. Possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of California is desired. Successful candidate must have effective communication skills, both written and orally and strong presentation skills. MicroStation experience a plus.
